Class Committees

All Seniors and their Parents are invited to participate in at least one class committee. Below is a list of committees that will serve our Senior Class this year. Since we are all volunteers, the only way that the Senior year will run smoothly and function effectively is if each family commits to serve on a committee. Parents do not need to be on the same committee as their student(s).

Social Committee:
This committee is responsible for planning and executing up to two informal dances and one formal dance, as well as monthly class activities. Clean-up is needed at meetings, dances, and graduation. This committee will help straighten the room after meetings and clean after class events as needed. The leadership team Social Coordinator is the chair-person. (for students and parents)

T-Shirt Committee:
This committee is responsible to design class t-shirt, coordinate with a t- shirt company, and distribute the class t-shirt. The chair for this committee is accountable to the leadership team coordinator. (for students and parents)

Yearbook/Photography Committee:
This committee will create a class yearbook and coordinate someone to take photos at class meetings, activities, events, and dances. The chair for this committee is accountable to the leadership team coordinator. (for students and parents)

Graduation Speech Committee:
Students on this committee are interested in addressing the class during graduation. Parents provide speaking tips and ensure that the student speakers are prepared for the ceremony. Auditions will be held at a later date. The chair for this committee is accountable to the leadership team coordinator. (for students and parents)

Music Committee:
Students on this committee are interested in providing music either vocal or instrumental for the class during graduation. Parents will practice with students to ensure that the students are prepared for the ceremony. Auditions will be held at a later date. The chair for this committee is accountable to the leadership team coordinator. (for parents and students)

Flower and Stage Decoration Committee:
This committee is responsible for ordering roses and floral arrangements for the graduation stage and/or decorating the stage with backdrops, as well as helping to clean up after graduation. The chair for this committee is accountable to the leadership team coordinator. (for students and parents)
